Authenticity Verification
Authenticity Verification
Every Chrome Hearts piece we sell is inspected for authenticity before it reaches you. Our team checks each item against documented references, and nothing is listed until it passes every step. Our standard is simple: genuine or it does not ship.
Our Verification Process
Authentication is handled in-house and logged at every stage. Two people sign off on each piece — one at intake, one at packing — so nothing ships on a single opinion.
- Sourcing — We acquire through direct channels and vetted partners only. Every unit requires a documented source trail before it enters intake.
- Material Inspection — We evaluate fabric weight, hand-feel, and composition against our reference pieces to confirm the item meets Chrome Hearts production standards.
- Construction Review — Stitching density, seam alignment, hem finish, and overall build quality are checked. Irregularities are flagged and held.
- Hardware & Silver Check — All .925 sterling silver components, zippers, buttons, rivets, and snap hardware are inspected for correct weight, engraving, and finish.
- Graphics & Print Check — Print placement, registration, ink quality, and scroll/cross detailing are compared against reference imagery.
- Label & Tag Verification — Interior labels, care tags, and any batch markings are verified against our in-house reference board.
- Final Sign-Off — A second inspector reviews the unit at pick-and-pack. If anything falls outside tolerance, the piece is pulled.
What We Check
- Material & Weight — Correct fabric composition, weight, and texture for the specific style and season.
- Stitching — Thread color, stitch density, and seam construction consistent with genuine production.
- Prints & Graphics — Placement, scale, and ink quality matched to references.
- Labels & Care Tags — Font, spacing, wording, and tag positioning verified.
- Hardware & Silver — All .925 silver pieces, zippers, buttons, and finishings inspected for correct make and marking.
- Overall Finish — Symmetry, cut, and detailing consistent with the intended silhouette.
Documentation & Provenance
We keep detailed photos on file for each piece, including close-up shots of hardware, stitching, and interior tags. When a source trail is provided, we retain it with the item record. This gives every order a documented history from acquisition through inspection to packing.
Guarantee
We stand behind every item that passes our checks. You are covered when the piece you receive materially differs from its description in color, condition, material, or measurement; when the wrong item is sent in error; or when authenticity cannot be confirmed on review. Qualifying cases are resolved through our documented process using photo evidence and order IDs.
